Stokes noted that Farr’s many contributions helped shape the American cattle industry as we know it. His impact is long-lasting – and ongoing.

Cut #2         :21          Outcue: "...generations to come."

Stokes said fundraising efforts for the W.D. Farr Legacy Scholarship are off to a great start.

Cut #3         :13          Outcue: "...great cattleman and gentleman."

Criteria for the scholarship application are still being developed, and will be announced soon. Anyone interested in contributing to the scholarship or to any National Cattlemen’s Foundation project may call 1-866-BEEFUSA or visit www.nationalcattlemensfoundation.org.
