DENVER (October 16, 1998) - A National Cattlemen's Beef Association tele-news conference for trade media will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 1998 from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. MDT to answer questions and discuss issues related to the International Trade Summit in Denver.

The Trade Summit, hosted by NCBA on October 19, 1998 in Denver, is designed to bring together U.S. border-state cattle association representatives and their Canadian counterparts, along with U.S. and Canadian federal and state government officials. The meeting participants will discuss current marketing and trade problems between the two nations and will explore possible solutions to those issues. Although the meeting will be open for observation by trade media, no opportunity will be provided for a question and answer session.

Various NCBA representatives and officers will be available to answer your questions on the October 20 tele-news conference call. Trade media is strongly encouraged to participate in the call.

To access the tele-news conference, dial 1-800-860-3035 and ask to be placed on the NCBA call hosted by Clark Willingham.

NCBA hopes that the call will provide valuable insight and answers to your questions. If NCBA can be of any further service to you, please do not hesitate to call.
