Global Market is Key

Jim Wiesemeyer (WEES meyer) may work in Washington, D.C., but he prides himself on observing the world from a broader platform. As vice president of policy and trade issues for Informa Economics and a columnist for AgWeb.com, he told attendees at the Cattle Industry Summer Conference in Denver their future lies outside of the country’s borders.

Wiesemeyer says it may not be the traditional beef markets.

Wiesemeyer made his comments at the opening general session of Conference on July 17. The conference runs through Saturday.
