Terry Stokes, CEO of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, says the Supreme Court’s long-awaited decision upholding the Beef Checkoff Program is great news for the beef industry.

Stokes says the checkoff has played a key role in building beef demand and consumer confidence in Beef.

He added that the Federation of State Beef Councils offers a critical opportunity for partnership between state programs and the national Beef Checkoff Program.

Stokes emphasized that the program has very strong support among cattle producers, as recent research indicates.
