Mon., Dec. 23 02 - Gain More Knowledge at Cattlemen’s College

Suggested Lead:

Many in the beef industry believe that the best part of the Cattle Industry Annual Convention and Trade Show is the Cattlemen’s College, says Renee Lloyd of NCBA. The Convention begins January 29 in Nashville, Tennessee. Cattlemen’s College classes are offered throughout the day on January 29, according to Lloyd.

Cut #1       :19            Outcue: "...help them be more profitable."

Lloyd says the Cattlemen’s College offers something for everyone.

Cut #2       :26            Outcue: "...come and learn about."

According to Lloyd, classes include a session where NRCS leaders discuss what’s in the Farm Bill for cattle producers and a class dealing with wildlife and cattle management, as well as a spokesperson training session.

Cut #3       :35            Outcue: "...in that session."

Lloyd says those attending the Cattlemen’s College luncheon will be inspired by the speaker.

Cut #4       :24            Outcue: "...at our luncheon this year."

There are several different ways one can register for Cattlemen’s College classes, Lloyd says, and there are student and other special rates available. For more information, call 303-694-0305 or go to Web site www.beef.org.
