Oct. 20, 2004 - Many Reasons Rural Communities Need to be Part of Election
When American citizens go to the polls November 2nd, voters will be deciding the direction of our government for the next four years. That will mean a lot to people in rural communities, according to Jay Truitt, executive director of legislative affairs for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. He says several issues are significant to people who live outside of urban areas.

According to Truitt, states in the heart of the country will be key to the result of this election.

Truitt says Presidential elections are events to be looked forward to in this country.

Individuals interested in getting more involved in the election than just voting in it, Truitt has a suggestion.
