According to Terry Stokes, CEO of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, cattlemen from across the nation are stepping up to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Cut #1         :31         Outcue: "...fellow farmers and ranchers."

Stokes says that in addition to monetary donations, farm and ranch supplies and labor are sorely needed.

Families can also help out by providing temporary housing.

Stokes added that state and national organizations are on hand to help deliver donations where they are needed most, and thanked all contributors for their generosity.
