Young Cattlemen’s Conference Gets New Co-sponsor
John Deere, the world’s leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment, has signed on as a co-sponsor of the NCBA 2003 Young Cattlemen’s Conference. Since 1980, the program has proven to be an effective vehicle in identifying and developing potential beef industry leaders. Through the years, more than 600 beef producers have graduated from the Young Cattlemen’s Conference program. Many of these alumni participate in industry committees and councils, as well as serve on a variety of boards.
“John Deere is extremely proud to be a part of a vibrant organization like NCBA and to support this valuable industry program,” said Mike Gustafson, John Deere manager of creative for the Livestock Group. “The YCC program is a perfect fit for our corporate philosophy, which is dedicated to helping young businessmen and women succeed.”
As a premier provider of agricultural equipment, John Deere continues to build a natural alliance with the beef industry. “The beef industry represents a vital and important market for John Deere products. Our partnership with the industry continues to grow, and we look forward to a fulfilling relationship with this strong organization.”
John Deere joins IBP (part of the Tyson Foods Family) and ContiBeef as corporate supporters of the conference.
