Our founding fathers first established our predecessor organization to be the voice for all cattle producers and to serve as the beef industry leader. The foundation of its existence is outlined in the industry vision statement. In that vision the principle of one plan, and one voice is clearly portrayed. It speaks clearly to industry unity and collaboration.

NCBA Board of Directors - Policy Division

Policy adopted by the Board may be reconsidered or modified by a simple majority vote of the members at the Stakeholders meeting provided notification was given prior to the meeting or new policy resolutions may be brought forth and passed with a 2/3 majority vote.

Annual NCBA Membership Meeting

May reconsider policy rejected by Board of Directors by simple majority. May approve policy rejected by BOD by 2/3 majority.

Membership Approval by Ballot

20% Response - Total Membership
20% Response in 4 out of 7 regions
