Prather ranch is looking for a Hardworking, self-motivated person with a variety of ranching experience. Need to know cattle health and have the capability to sort and treat sick cattle outside on pasture or in a feedyard setting. Need to have cowboy experience, but also willing to flood irrigate, service equipment and perform ranch maintenance such as electric and barbed wire fencing. Need pasture management skills and be willing to re-locate to winter pasture with the cows. Extensive record keeping, humane handling of livestock and teamwork a must. Some welding, mechanical and AI skills a plus.

Director of Industry Affairs -- The California Cattlemen's Association is seeking applications for the position of Director of Industry Affairs, located in Sacramento, California. The individual will be responsible for managing state and federal regulatory air and water resource issues affecting California’s beef cattle industry, working to influence the development of new resource policies and serving as the liaison to the state's Feeder Council. Relevant experience with air and water regulation, feeder industry issues and knowledge of the industry are preferred. Beef Leadership Opportunity
Executive Director
The Center for Beef Excellence, a non-profit organization initiated in 2007, seeks qualified individuals to apply for its Executive Director position. The Center provides leadership to Pennsylvania’s beef industry through effective, coordinated use of people, resources and partnerships, and works closely with the Pennsylvania Beef Task Force, the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, and numerous allied industry personnel.
This highly rewarding position requires a bachelor’s degree, leadership, organizational, networking, strong verbal and writing communication skills, the ability to multitask, along with significant beef industry knowledge and minimum 10 years experience.
