For the second year, NCBA is encouraging youth attendance at the convention through youth competitions. Those youth competitions include:

        Quiz Bowl – Thursday, January 28
        Public Speaking Contest
– Thursday, January 28
        Team Marketing Contest
– Thursday, January 28
        Cattle Judging Contest
– Friday, January 29

All youth ages 9 and up are welcome to compete, see individual contest for age eligibility and rules.

Awards vary by contest, so youth are encouraged to compete in more than one competition.

Youth Activities Entry Form


NCBA Youth Safe Operator Training Session
Sponsored by Caterpillar
Thursday, January 29 (NCBA Trade Show)
Open to all youth attendees
Plan to attend a safe operator training session provided by Caterpillar. Instructors will be on-site to provide a safe operator training session for students on the operation of Skid Steer Loaders in their farming and ranching applications. Students will be given machine walkarounds, tips on safe operation of the machine and how to properly exchange work tool attachments on the machine.
