Advance registration for the 2008 Cattle Industry Annual Convention & Trade Show, being held February 6-9, 2008 in Reno, Nevada, is now closed!
You may now register on-site in Reno!
Registrations, including ticket additions or changes, will not be accepted after the January 11 deadline. All registration forms received after January 11 will be returned. As of January 12, you must register on-site at the higher registration fees. Event tickets for each event will be sold on-site on a space available basis.
Registration & General Information
Registration is required to attend the educational programs, business meetings, social events and the NCBA Trade Show. NCBA has customized the registration process to meet your convention needs. Registration includes options to attend the entire 4-day convention, registration for two consecutive days, a discounted student registration, or a one day NCBA Trade Show only registration.

The full 4-day Registration (Wednesday through Saturday):

2-Day Registration: $195.00
Available for the following consecutive days and includes admittance to all convention events (including special ticketed events with the purchase of a ticket) held on those respective days, and the NCBA Trade Show:

Student Registration: $65.00
Available with valid student ID and includes admittance to all convention events (including special ticketed events with the purchase of a ticket), and the NCBA Trade Show.
Children
Children under the age of 12 are not required to register for the convention, but they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
One-Day NCBA Trade Show Only Registration: $35.00
May be purchased through on-site registration only (Thursday or Friday). Does not include admittance to any convention events.
Exhibitor Registration
Each exhibiting company is entitled to four complimentary registrations for each 10’ X 10’ booth space purchased. When registering on-site these complimentary registrations are subject to a$25.00 late fee. Exhibiting company registrations over the complimentary allotment are charged $75.00; exhibitor spouse/guest may register for the discounted rate of $120.00 using the online Exhibitor Registration form. Exhibitors must register online for the Annual Convention. Exhibitor registrations may only be used by technical, qualified individuals who are bona fide company employees or legitimate representatives. NCBA Annual Membership Meeting
If you will be attending only the NCBA Annual Membership Meeting and not participating in any other activities or events at Convention, you may purchase an Annual Membership Meeting Only admission for a charge of $10.00 at the door.
Name Badges/Tickets
Pick up your packet in the registration area at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Your packet will contain all your registration materials, including your name badge, purchased event tickets, and ribbons. There will be a $10.00 fee assessed to replace lost badges, and lost event tickets will not be replaced.

Cancellations/Refunds
Substitutions are not allowed. If someone is attending in your place, they must send in their own registration form. Refunds will be issued only for registrations cancelled prior to January 11. A $60.00 service charge will be assessed on all cancelled registrations. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after this date or for failure to attend. No refunds will be issued on-site.
Under special circumstances and only when requested in writing, a credit (excluding the service charge, ticketed and/or meal events), may be issued to be applied toward pre-registration for the 2009 Annual Convention and Trade Show. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing, accompanied by your confirmation form, sent to the NCBA Convention Department and received no later than March 1, 2008. All refunds and credits will be issued following the convention.
Special Requests
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association will make all reasonable efforts at the Convention to accommodate persons with disabilities. Please call the Convention Department at (303) 694-0305 with your request.

You are welcome to attend any of the meetings listed to participate in the discussion and the debate on industry issues, although you must be a committee member to vote in NCBA Policy Committee & Subcommittee meetings and Joint Committee and Subcommittee meetings. If you are interested in becoming a member of a committee, contact your state cattlemen’s or cattlewomen’s association or state beef council.
Tax Deduction
All or a portion of your expenses in attending the 2008 Cattle Industry Annual Convention and Trade Show may be tax deductible. Please consult your accountant or tax attorney.
Release of Attendee Information
Convention attendees’ names and addresses are only released to state affi liates and contracted exhibiting companies, and are not sold to any outside companies/individuals.
Waiver of Liability
NCBA is not responsible for lost or damaged articles, accidents, any mishap due to alcohol or drug abuse, disasters, government regulation or advisory, high altitude sickness, death, injury, illness, fire, disruption, delays, modifications or cancels caused by weather condition, or any mechanical or electrical difficulties, strikes, lockouts, acts or threats of terrorism, civil disorder, acts of God, and other events beyond the control of NCBA. NCBA will make every effort to conduct the program as described; however, NCBA reserves the right to make adjustments to the programs without affecting their overall quality. NCBA is not responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed or for whom space is not available at the meeting (or if the meeting or any event should be cancelled). Costs incurred by the registrant such as airline or hotel fees or penalties are the responsibility of the registrant.
