Disbursements Update

NCBA-PAC has become a leader, not only in the agriculture community, but overall in the Washington, DC PAC community.  Four months in row, NCBA-PAC has made the Congressional Quarterly’s Moneyline top 100 trade association PAC list.  NCBA-PAC is currently ranked 37th based on our disbursements for 2013. Having PAC resources readily available has allowed us to contribute the maximum ($10,000 per cycle) permitted by law to 9 members of congress in the first 7 months of the 2013.  Several key members are being targeted in primary races. NCBA-PAC was also able to help several new members of Congress retire debts that they acquired in the last election.

So far in 2013, NCBA–PAC has co-hosted 22 Meet and Greets for freshman members.  Of these, 16 have been held in NCBA’s DC office. NCBA-PAC has cohosted 45 fundraisers in which 27 have been held in NCBA’s DC office. NCBA-PAC 2013 2nd and 3rd Quarter Contributions
