In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina's devastation, we encourage our members to make a donation to the relief effort. The monies will go to everything necessary to help those affected rebuild their homes, their ranches ...and their lives.

J. D. Hopkins and Don McAbee deliver a 20-foot trailer loaded with generators, chain saws, feed, water and food to the Mississippi Cattlemen’s Association office in Jackson.  The products were assembled by George, Joey and Jeff Martin of Martin & Martin Auctioneers, Inc., Pelzer, S.C., for cattlemen and their friends needing help after Katrina. The trailer returned to South Carolina after unloading on Sept. 2, to get another load bound for Bay St. Louis, Miss.

NCBA’s Disaster Relief Fund has been made active.  To make a monetary donation to the relief efforts, please send a check to NCF (National Cattlemen’s Foundation) and write “Hurricane Katrina” in the memo line.  NCF can also accept credit cards. These donations can be mailed to NCBA’s Denver office and will be used to purchase much needed supplies.  The address is:

Disbursement of donations will be coordinated with the Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana Cattlemen’s Associations.
