NCBA’s Product Council membership represents all sectors of the beef industry from large companies to small, family-owned businesses. Product Council members include companies from packers, processors, retailers, foodservice, wholesale/manufacturers and suppliers.

NCBA works hard to represent the interests of the U.S. beef producer and industry members to the federal government, Congress, the media and the ever-important customer. NCBA advises, informs, encourages and supports the industry and its members every single day. Our commitment to the beef industry remains steady and strong unlike any other in the industry.

Livestock Marketing Council

The Livestock Marketing Council is a fully-operational marketing service to help maximize potential for livestock auction markets and order buyer/dealers, to ensure the future of the beef industry. LMC members receive many beneficial services, such as:  credit check services, preferred insurance provider, preferred legal services, e-mail and fax updates, monthly conference calls, NCBA publications, as well as a voice representing the livestock marketing segment of the industry.

What is LMC?

NCBA's Livestock Marketing Council is about better serving our industry, catering to those who have given us and NCBA their business today and those who will do so tomorrow. The Livestock Marketing Council is enhancing the opportunity for livestock market operators and order buyers to join and actively participate in NCBA and receive value-added services.

Livestock marketing is a fast paced business that is always changing. The Livestock Marketing Council's overall objective is to help its members reach their maximum business potential. NCBA has a full-time staff person working as a livestock marketing liaison to LMC members, providing daily information on marketing, trade updates, and beef industry issues. That person also focuses on the happenings of Congress and monitors all Grain Inspection Packer’s and Stockyards Administration issues on behalf of LMC members.

The Livestock Marketing Council is a fully operational marketing service. LMC provides its members with many beneficial services such as: credit check services, preferred insurance provider, preferred legal services, and timely industry information. LMC also has monthly conference calls with council leadership and LMC members to give market reports from each individual’s area, address beef industry concerns, give trade updates, and discuss recruiting tactics, and receive issue updates from the NCBA Washington D.C. staff.
