2005 IRM Redbook Custom Orders

“I would rather leave the house with only one boot than to go off without my Redbook and pocketknife.”

“When I started in the cattle business in 1985, I made my own calving book. In 1991, I found the Redbook, which is easier to use, and I have bought one ever since.”

These are just a few of the comments that NCBA receives from cattlemen each year about the importance and usefulness of the Integrated Resource Management Redbook for their ranch.

For nearly 20 years, cattlemen have used the IRM Redbook to track the profitability of their cow-calf operations.  These pocket-sized record books provide an effective way for cattlemen to keep better production records and to enhance the profitability of their operations.  The primary use of the IRM Redbook is to record calving information and daily production activities.

The Redbook provides over 100 pages to record calving activity, herd health, pasture usage and cattle inventory, plus an annual calendar and notes/address section. The Redbook offers special features, such as body condition scoring section, summary of death loss section, calving section and cattle treatment record.

Last year, over 120 companies distributed more than 70,000 of these books to cow-calf producers throughout the country.  It is time once again to place your custom order for these record books.  You can provide them to your cow-calf customers!  NCBA’s only requirement for custom stamping is a minimum order of 100 books per order.  Order forms for the customized 2005 IRM Redbooks are available by contacting Renee Lloyd.

NCBA will have individual 2005 books available for sale beginning Nov. 1.

IRM Redbooks cost $5 each, including shipping and handling.
