The beef industry’s R&D Ranch provides a school for processors, retailers and others who help get beef products into the hands of consumers, according to Lee Hall. Hall, a beef producer from Lexington, Kentucky, is chairman of the Joint New Product & Culinary Initiatives Committee. He says the program, funded by the $1-per-head beef checkoff, is multi-faceted.
