The 2003 National Beef Cook-Off is right around the corner, and the state chairman for the event, to be held in Fort Worth, Texas the 26^th and 27^th of this month, is thrilled.  Jill Ginn (hard “g” as in “gift”), has only been to one national Cook-Off in her life, but she was impressed by what she saw. 

Cut #1    :19       Outcue: "...all on the same page."

Ginn says nutrition and convenience are two keys to what the Cook-Off hopes to accomplish.  

Cut #2    :29       Outcue: "...help them grow."

A new “Kids Pleasers” category this year will provide some ideas that haven’t been considered in the past.

According to Ginn, there’s no better opportunity for the Cook-Off than right now.

This is the 25^th Anniversary for the National Beef Cook-Off, which is coordinated on behalf of the national $1-per-head checkoff by the American National CattleWomen.  More than $100,000 in cash and prizes will be given out at this year’s event, including a $50,000 Best of Beef prize.
