NCBA Audio Clip: NCBA Selects Task Force to Study Governance

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association has appointed a task force to help identify potential changes to NCBA’s governance structure.  Its goal is to deliver on the organization’s principle of “One Vision – One Plan – One Budget – One Voice.”

Andy Groseta is a beef producer from Cottonwood, Ariz., and NCBA president. He says the organization has been around a long time and intends to stay viable for years to come.

According to Groseta, the move is helping the organization keep up with a rapidly evolving industry.

Members of the task force were carefully chosen to make sure every cattleman’s voice is heard.

Groseta says at this time task force members are keeping their minds wide open, and there are no preconceived notions or hidden agendas. Their only goal, he says, is to create a stronger NCBA and a stronger beef industry.
