Mon., Oct 14 02 - NCBA Helps Ensure Drought Victims' Livestock Compensation

NCBA has been in regular contact with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to ensure the Livestock Compensation Program is implemented quickly and equitably, and is user-friendly for drought victims. According to Bryan Dierlam, NCBA’s director of Legislative Affairs, the ‘check is in the mail’ for drought victims, or should be.
