PHOENIX – Ginny Lee, Valentine, Neb., was named the 2008 Outstanding CattleWoman of the Year during the American National CattleWomen’s (ANCW) Awards Reception on Jan. 29. The banquet was held at the Cattle Industry Annual Convention in Phoenix, Ariz.

She has held every office in her Area #17 and numerous positions at the state level including Nebraska CattleWomen President.

Ginny typifies the CattleWoman we all admire” said Bonita Lederer, past president of Nebraska CattleWomen. “Ginny has the energy and dedication we all aspire to.  She is so good at taking a project and doing it well and with creativity and enthusiasm.” Kristy Lage describes Ginny as a “true leader and mentor.”  Her experience, leadership ability and intuition make her a CattleWomen we all look up to and respect,” said Lage.

Ginny is also a wife, mother, grandmother and active volunteer in her community and church.
