“NCBA Membership Continues to Grow: Kalous”

( Courtney Kalous (Clouse) is director of member services for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.)

Despite a shrinking industry, the largest organization representing cattlemen is growing. Courtney Kalous is director of member services for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. She says it’s been a multiple-year effort to this point.

According to Kalous, the growth isn’t just happening in one area of the country.

Kalous says state cattlemen’s associations are crucial to NCBA’s growth.

A new field representative program for NCBA has also helped educate producers and generate new memberships.

According to Kalous, membership growth for the organization is on schedule.

Kalous says multiple methods are being used to expand the membership base of the organization and keep those members and others informed about what NCBA is doing on their behalf.



NCBA... working to increase profit opportunities for cattle and beef producers by enhancing the business climate and building consumer demand.
