Tues., Jul 30 02 - NCBA Works to Get Drought Relief for Cattlemen

Members and staff of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association are working diligently to gain drought relief assistance from members of congress, and are looking for help from cattlemen around the country.  According to Bryan Dierlam, NCBA director of legislative affairs, aggressive efforts have been underway for some time.

Dierlam says the same kind of effort is being made on the other side of the hall.

According to Dierlam, the timing is good now for cattle producers to make contact with their representatives.

Dierlam says cattle producers don’t need to be reminded how important this issue is.
