IRM Redbook

IRM Pocket Reference (Blue Book)

Often referred to as the “Blue Book,” this quick reference is also produced with portability and day-to-day ranch work in mind. Topics include nutritional values of different forage types, beef improvement guidelines, immunization protocols and body condition scoring.  Many conversion charts and tables are included throughout the 170-page book.

Cow/Calf Desk Record Book

Cow/Calf Desk Record Book.  The next step in your record keeping process, after you have completed the Redbook.  The record book is a loose-leaf binder containing forms to record and assimilate financial and performance information. Designed in accordance with the Standardized Performance Analysis (SPA) guidelines and for use with the Redbook.

Natural Resource Desk Record

Natural Resource Desk Record Book.  This loose-leaf record book includes forms to record rainfall, soil samples, forage samples, etc. to help evaluate grazing systems, stocking rates, nutritional needs, water quality issues, fertilization, etc. Environmental data collected in this supports management practices or documents responses from management changes. The book includes 3 levels of detail, from very simple to more involved.
