NCBA Vice President of Government Affairs Colin Woodall says cattlemen and women have made the estate tax the top policy priority for 2012. Woodall says the current estate tax levels expire at the end of 2012 and that cattlemen are working to educate lawmakers about the detimental impacts of this outdated tax. He said NCBA supports a full and permanent repeal but if that isn't possible the organization supports making the current levels permanent.
