NCBA Affiliates Recognized for Outstanding Recruitment Effort
(July 16, 2015) - The Illinois Beef Association and Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association each earned use of a piece of equipment from New Holland for their outstanding efforts to recruit new members to the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. Each of these NCBA affiliates will get its choice of a one-year lease on a New Holland Roll-Belt™ 560 Specialty Crop round baler or a one-year lease on a New Holland T6 175 tractor. The awards were announced at the 2015 Cattle Industry Summer Conference in Denver, Colo., July 16.
“Since 2003 New Holland has been a great partner to NCBA, recognizing and rewarding our affiliates that help strengthen the membership base and give the cattle industry a stronger voice,” said Philip Ellis, NCBA President. “Like New Holland, these state affiliates recognize that the organization’s growth is a smart way to promote beef and protect a way of life.”
The Illinois Beef Association was the winner of the drawing of the fifteen qualifying affiliates, which included: Arizona Cattle Feeders, California Cattlemen’s, Colorado Livestock, Hawaii Cattlemen’s, Idaho Cattle Assn, Illinois Beef Assn, Kansas Livestock, Minnesota State Cattlemen’s, Nebraska Cattlemen, Ohio Cattlemen’s, Pennsylvania Cattlemen’s, Texas Cattle Feeders, Utah Cattlemen’s, Washington Cattlemen’s, and Wisconsin Cattlemen’s.
The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association was top affiliate in NCBA membership recruitment from January first through March thirty-first, automatically earning them a piece of equipment donated by New Holland.
“It takes all of us working together to keep the cattle industry strong and viable for future generations of farmers and ranchers,” said Ellis. “These affiliates have earned these awards because of their commitment to the continued success of NCBA and our industry.”
